This was certainly the case for both of the Founders of VA Happy in their business ventures prior to starting VA Happy. Starting any business, more often that not, means doing everything yourself. For Anthony and Ross this meant being on the front lines from sales to customer service, as well as attending all events, going on road trips to visit retailers, working closely with manufacturers, managing the finances, and so much more.
One of the biggest challenges they faced was figuring out how to master the art of prioritisation. Not being able to do all of it at once led to a lot of stress. They knew that figuring out how to delegate and prioritise better would be the path to their success. However, knowing how to do that and making it a reality proved a challenge in itself… and ironically, very time consuming!
So the road to delegation was embarked upon:
Taking on a VA based in the Philippines was by no means straight-forward and took both Anthony and Ross quite a bit of time and effort to get the right VA in place. But when they found the right VA’s the results were well worth all the effort!

With a working career spanning over 27 years, Ross worked in the Automotive & Finance sectors, for the likes of BMW, VW group and Lloyds Asset Finance before founding his own start-up business in 2015.
He quickly realised he needed some help but wasn’t able to afford even part time staff, so needed to find an alternative route. This lead him to outsourcing time consuming tasks to a Virtual Assistant in the Philippines, enabling him to focus on what he was good at, selling his services. Ross loves advising & assisting start-up businesses, so when the opportunity to co-found VA Happy was presented, it felt like a natural fit.
Carlo has worked for several companies in the Philippines as a Project Manager, Head of Operations, and Sales & Marketing Manager before diving into the Virtual Assistant scene.
Carlo soon realised it was both practical and efficient for him to do home-based work, allowing him to have more time for his family, but at the same time, be able to provide a great service for clients.
